12 April - Stakeholders’ Roundtable on Rana Plaza Tragedy-10 Years: Workers’ Health & Safety and Trade Union Rights: Where are we now?

Organisers: IndustriALL Bangladesh Council and Solidarity Center

Programme: 

• 10AM, Rally from NGWF office (31/F, Topkhana Road) past the Press Club (18 Topkhana Road) and ending at Reporters Unity Hall Room, Segun Bagicha Road. 
• 11AM-2PM, Press Club, round table in the presence of all RMG sector member unions of IndustriAll/IBC, presided over by IBC President Amirul Haque Amin, moderated by IBC General Secretary Kutubuddin Ahmed. Programme includes one minute silence, speakers from IBC unions, Solidarity Center and US Ambassador to Bangladesh. 

Languages: The main programme will be in Bangla, English interpretation will be available. English speaking guests will be interpreted into Bangla.  

18 April - Time & place TBC - Press conference by NGWF with survivors of and families affected by Rana Plaza collapse about compensation payments and needs for brands to take responsibility, languages: Bangla and English, online access TBC.
